The restaurant is open to guests and to anyone driving the R565 - twelve kilometres before Sun City, so it is the last proper meal before the resort and the first one after the park. Grills over open coals, wood-fired pizza, pasta, burgers, and a Kings Kraal platter for people who came for the real thing.

The 1980s Bar, and the one at the pool.
The 1980s Bar is the sports bar: a pool table, screens for whatever is on, and the feel of a pub rather than a hotel lounge. It is where a conference ends up after dinner and where you watch the rugby if you are not driving anywhere.
The other bar sits under thatch at the far end of the pool, for the hours between a game drive and dinner.
Boma dinners.
Dinner around a fire under the open sky, which is the meal people actually remember. It suits a conference group, a family, or two people who would rather not eat indoors. Arranged at reception - a day's notice is usually enough.
Pair it with a sundowner drive through the estate's private reserve, which stops at the dam for a beer while the light goes.
