Yes. 101 hotel rooms plus 60 self-catering chalets on the estate (30 one-bedroom, 30 two-bedroom) - about 380 beds sharing in total, so all but the very largest delegations sleep on the same property.

Ask the office and CSD details are sent with your quotation, together with tax compliance status, VAT registration and B-BBEE documents.

Do you invoice a department directly?

Yes. A tax invoice is issued on completion against the approved quotation or order number.

How are conference rates quoted?

Per delegate. Day-conference rates cover venue hire, refreshments, lunch and standard equipment; 24-hour rates add dinner, bed and breakfast.

About 40 minutes from Rustenburg and two hours from Pretoria, on the R565 and N4.

The hotel is on the R565 at Boshoek, inside North West province - which matters when a departmental budget has to be spent in-province. Five venues, a hundred and one bedrooms, a restaurant and parking are all on one property, so a three-day workshop does not turn into a convoy between a venue in one town and beds in another.

Government bookings are decided on paperwork as much as price, and the usual delay is a venue that cannot produce it. Tell us what your department requires - company registration, VAT registration, tax compliance status, B-BBEE certificate, CSD supplier number, a formal quotation on a letterhead - and the office will send it with the quote rather than three days later.

We have government rates for conferencing and accommodation. We quote per delegate for day conferences and for 24-hour packages, itemised the way a requisition needs it: venue, equipment, catering per session, accommodation, and VAT shown separately. Purchase order numbers and departmental invoicing terms are no trouble; say how you work and we will match it.

What fits where.

Each venue seats 60 to 120 delegates depending on the layout, and opened up the five take 500 cinema-style, 300 schoolroom, or 800 standing for a function. Data projectors, screens, staging, roving and lapel microphones and Wi-Fi come with the room; breakaway rooms and catering are arranged per event.

Everybody sleeps where they met.

A hundred and one hotel rooms, and behind them sixty self-catering chalets on the same estate - thirty one-bedroom and thirty two-bedroom - which take the overflow when a delegation is larger than the hotel. Between them they sleep about 380 people sharing, so all but the very largest conferences sleep where they meet: no shuttling delegates to guesthouses in Rustenburg, no late arrivals in the morning session, and one accommodation line on the invoice instead of several.

After hours

Team building and the evening.

An obstacle course, quad convoys through the estate's own reserve, archery, soccer, volleyball, cricket nets and mountain bike trails are on the property, and a late-afternoon game drive in Pilanesberg National Park is eleven kilometres away. For the evening there are boma dinners around a fire and sundowner drives through the private reserve that stop at the dam for a drink, and entertainment can be laid on for group bookings.
