Double and twin rooms start at R1 510 per room per night, executive rooms at R1 700, family rooms at R1 850 and the family suite at R3 150. Rates change with the season.

Yes. Every room has air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, a television, free Wi-Fi, a safe, a telephone and tea and coffee.

What is a family room?

A double room and a twin room joined by an interleading door, so children sleep next door with their own bathroom. It sleeps four.

Is the hotel good for children?

Yes. Pilanesberg is malaria-free, there is a jungle gym in the hotel, and the waterpark on the estate is free for hotel guests. There is also a space jump - a trampoline with bungee cords.

Every room opens onto the gardens or the pool, and every room is the same size whichever rate you pay - what changes is the number of beds and how recently the finish was refreshed. Housekeeping comes daily. Nothing here is a resort suite, and we don't photograph it as one.

How far is the park?: Pilanesberg National Park is eleven kilometres away - see game drives. Sun City is twelve kilometres in the other direction.
Is it malaria-free?: Yes. The whole of the Pilanesberg is a malaria-free area, so no prophylactics and no arguments with the children about tablets.
Is it a good place to bring children?: Malaria-free, so no tablets. There is a jungle gym in the hotel, a waterpark on the estate that is free while you are staying, and a space jump - see things to do.
