From Johannesburg or Pretoria, take the N4 towards Rustenburg, then the R565 towards Sun City. You pass the hotel on the R565 at Boshoek about twelve kilometres before the Sun City gates, so you arrive before the resort rather than after it. Tar the whole way; an ordinary car is fine.
